Auto dealership change expected to curb traffic on Ohio 741

A second White Allen automobile dealership on Ohio 741 will have more access to the existing business, a move that’s expected to cut down on traffic on the state route.

The White Allen Volkswagen dealership being built in Miami Twp. has been granted two access points to the company’s White Allen European Auto Group site next door to the south.

The 20,200 square foot Volkswagen site is being built on 3.3 acres. Construction is expected to cost about $3 million and be completed next spring, officials have said.

“The addition of two access drives will aid in the day-to-day operations of the dealership and its customers,” township records state. “More importantly, it will reduce the amount of traffic entering and exiting SR 741 when traveling between the two dealerships.”
