Gas prices expected to spike in Ohio this week

Average gas prices in Ohio are expected to climb higher today than they have in the last month.

The price of gas across Ohio is expected to jump today to around $2.50, meaning it will cost more to fill up tanks today than it did any day in October, according to the website Gas Buddy.

Gas Buddy issued a “price hike alert” today, showing that prices are projected to spike by around 30 cents over the next few days.

The expected spike could push average Ohio gas prices to $2.69 over the next few days, according to Gas Buddy.

The projected spike is up from Ohio’s average of $2.49 today and $2.39 before the spike started, according to Gas Buddy.

Today’s average price increase in Ohio is the third increase of 15 cents or more in the last month. The cheapest day to buy gas in Ohio over the last month was Oct. 10 when the average price was just above $2.25, according to Gas Buddy.
