Best-selling author to speak about ‘adulting’ at Wright State event

Kelly Williams Brown, author of “Adulting: How to Become a Grown-up in 468 Easy (ish) Steps,” will speak at Wright State University next month.

Brown will speak at 7 p.m., March 8 in the student union’s Apollo room, according to the university. Brown’s book, a New York Times best-seller, was written to help 20-somethings better navigate adulthood.

Brown is an advertising copywriter and millennial life coach and has spoken at universities across the country, at NASA and helped facilitate a conversation about student loans with former president Barack Obama, according to WSU.

She has been featured on NBC’s Today Show, in The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Esquire, The Boston Globe, Fast Company and more.

Brown’s visit is part of “Life After Wright State 2017,” a series of events to help graduating students transition out of college.
