DAYTON — Miami Valley Hospital will hold an open house from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, for its new $135 million, 12-story patient tower at One Wyoming St.
The patient tower has 178 private rooms for cardiac and orthopedic care.
Parking is free.
The opening of the patient tower caps more than three years of planning for one of the most logistically complicated moves in city history. The relocation of 450 hospital employees and the cardiac and orthopedic/spine units has to happen without disrupting around-the clock caregiving at the region’s largest hospital.
