Air Force awards Lockheed Martin a $664 million contract

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — The Air Force awarded a $664.4 million contract to Lockheed Martin Corp. to support the F-22 stealth fighter aircraft program.

The contract from the Aeronautical Systems Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base covers work to be done this year.

The work sites are Marietta, Ga.; Fort Worth, Texas; Palmdale, Calif., and Seattle, the Defense Department said Thursday.
