Area senior care company names new leader

Senior Independence, which operates home care, hospice, adult day centers and senior centers, has named a new executive director in charge of its Cincinnati and Dayton area offices.

Cheryl Withrow, of Hamilton, started in the position at the end of last year, according to Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services. Senior Independence is a subsidiary of Ohio Presbyterian. Withrow has 29 years experience in the long-term care industry.

The previous executive director was promoted internally within the organization, according to Ohio Presbyterian.

Withrow manages the day-to-day operations of Senior Independence in the region, which serves a 14-county area.
