Bank directors’ workshops set for Dayton

Staff Report

DAYTON — The U.S. Comptroller of the Currency is hosting workshops next week to provide information for directors of nationally chartered community banks.

The workshops are scheduled Oct. 5 and Oct. 6 at the Doubletree Hotel and Suites in downtown Dayton.

The first day’s meeting covers bank risk assessment, and the second day focuses on credit risk analysis.

The $65 fee for each workshop covers course materials, breakfast and lunch. The sessions are limited to the first 35 registrants and are intended for outside directors of national community banks with assets of less than $1 billion, according to the comptroller’s office.

The Dayton sessions are part of a nationwide series of similar workshops this year.
