Bob Ross Buick-GMC & Mercedes-Benz will receive the Better Business Bureau’s second annual Torch Award, the BBB said Friday.
The dealership will be recognized at BBB’s Eclipse Integrity Awards May 10.
The award is a “symbol of guidance and enlightenment as consumers and businesses strive to interact in a trustworthy and ethical marketplace,” the BBB said in a statement.
The local Torch Award is dedicated to the legacy of Miami Valley business pioneers John Patterson, Wilbur and Orville Wright, Charles Kettering and others, the BBB said.
Robert P. Ross Sr. was the first graduate of General Motors’ Minority Dealer Academy and the first black Mercedes-Benz dealer in the world, the BBB noted.
