YORK, Pa. — Bon-Ton Stores says it will in late October begin to operate the fine jewelry departments in 86 of its stores, including its Elder-Beerman Stores locations in Dayton.
Finlay Fine Jewelry Corp. previously operated the fine jewelry departments of the affected stores through a license agreement, according to the news release issued Tuesday, Sept. 29.
Bon-Ton will offer equivalent jobs to the affected Finlay Fine Jewelry Corp. employees, Bon-Ton said.
Elder-Beerman Stores in Miami Twp., Beavercreek, Centerville and Huber Heights will have fine jewelry departments, said Mary Kerr, a Bon-Ton spokeswoman, in an email.
