CareSource adds 2 new VP jobs

Staff Report

DAYTON — One of the city’s largest employers named two vice presidents this week, new jobs created in response to CareSource’s growth.

Karen Borgert has been named vice president of strategic human resources support. Her position will help support additional growth from CareSource’s alliance this year with Humana, CareSource said.

Prior to this, Borgert was vice president of human resources for Grandview Medical Center and vice president of talent services for Kettering Health Network, according to the health plan.

James Peters was named vice president of network operations. Previously, Peters was chief executive officer of Alliance Partners of Cincinnati, according to CareSource.

“Due to our continued growth, these new positions were created to maintain strategic alignment as we pursue new business opportunities in Ohio and nationwide,” said Pamela Morris, CareSource president and chief executive, in a statement with the release.

Ohio’s largest Medicaid managed care plan, 230 N. Main Street, Dayton, is up to more than 1,200 employees.
