WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — A Cincinnati engineering and design company has been hired under a contract worth up to $12 million for a broad range of architectural, analysis and facility services at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, base officials said Thursday.

The duties of Burgess & Niple could include survey of facilities for potential asbestos and lead hazards; sampling and testing; design and economic analysis of mechanical and electrical projects; construction plans for projects, provision of cost estimates and bidding schedules.

The contract is for one year, plus up to four options of one year each. The work awarded under the contract will depend on the government’s needs, the Air Force said.
