Corbus LLC, a Dayton-based supply chain management and information technology company, has appointed Sam Boggs III as its new chief operations officer, according to a news release.

Officials said Boggs will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Corbus. He will oversee all of the company’s service lines, which include information technology services, sourcing and procurement services, and business process management.

Boggs has managed large-scale operations in the U.S., Canada, Philippines, India, Ireland, Turkey and throughout Europe, according to company officials. He began his business career in 1993 after a successful career as a U.S. Army officer. Boggs hold a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Maryland.

Corbus, a wholly owned subsidiary of Soin International LLC, has 255 employees in the Dayton and Cincinnati region.
