BEAVERCREEK — JJR Solutions, a data management and intelligence analysis firm, opened its doors this morning, Aug. 27, the company said.

Dave Judson Jr., a retired Air Force officer and veteran of Beavercreek and Springfield data organizer Qbase, is heading the firm locally. The company intends to serve government and defense clients, and has recently won a contract with Air Force/A7 civil engineers, the firm said.

Consulting services will focus on data solutions, intelligence analysis and research operations.

The civil engineers are embarking on a modernization effort, JJR said in its announcement. Key to the effort will be handling of data, the company said.

The new firm also has a contract with NASIC (the National Air and Space Intelligence Center) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Judson said in an interview this morning. That contract was garnered through JJR acquiring Bear Engineering and Research, based in Beavercreek.

“Data strategy is about more than the tools to process or manipulate data,” Judson said. “We have some great tools at our disposal – both at JJR and across the industry in general.”

He added, “We’re in a new era of data management – the sheer volume of data being collected, the speed with which it’s collected and the importance of the data for critical business decisions. This is overwhelming many, many organizations.”

The firm opened in the Acropolis office complex today. A phone number will be active in a few days.
