Dayton businessman to represent small business on state panel

COLUMBUS — Steve Bowser, president and chief executive officer of the engineering and testing firm Bowser-Morner Inc., has been chosen to serve on an advisory panel of the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.

Bowser is to serve on the compliance advisory panel which oversees programs meant to help small businesses comply with new air pollution regulations, the National Federation of Independent Business/Ohio said Wednesday. Bowser is a longtime member of NFIB and serves on its statewide leadership council.

Ohio Senate president Tom Niehaus, R-New Richmond, selected Bowser as a representative of small business to serve on the panel.

Bowser-Morner Inc., founded in 1911, is based in Dayton.
