CENTERVILLE — The Better Business Bureau is teaming with other organizations next week to offer the public free advice on how to protect assets and keep them away from scam artists.
The BBB is hosting the Sept. 2 “financial fair” event from 10 a.m. to noon at the Hithergreen Senior Center, 5900 Hithergreen Dr., Centerville.
Participating will be representatives of the Ohio Attorney General’s office, Federal Trade Commission, Ohio Department of Insurance, Internal Revenue Service, Ohio Consumers’ Counsel, Social Security Administration and Ohio’s state treasurer.
