Furniture, vintage guitar store opens in Oregon District

DAYTON — A store specializing in restored and vintage guitars, refurbished furniture and other items will open Friday, Jan. 29, in the Oregon Historic District.

ReCreate, owned by Deane Grandfield and Kenny Pyles, also carries other musical instruments, paintings by Ohio artist Nathan DuBry and also provides guitar and amplifier repairs, a news release states.

Grandfield and Pyles will buy, sell or trade used instruments and furniture at the 438 E. Fifth St. store, a news release states.

Hours: Noon to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
