Local firm Henkle Schueler awarded for FedEx project

A Warren County developer was awarded for the FedEx Ground sorting and distribution facility project in Lebanon.

Related Lebanon companies Henkle Schueler & Associates/CORFAC International and Bunnell Hill Construction/Development said they received the “Industrial Deal of the Year” award from the Cincinnati area chapter of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.

The real estate firm negotiated a deal for 28.5 acres for FedEx that included four separate land owners, a new 1,200-foot roadway and utilities extension, and financing with Warren County Port Authority, as well as tax increment financing and grant funding, according to Henkle Schueler.

FedEx broke ground on its $15 million, 178,000-square-foot distribution hub in June. It is expected to be completed in March. Once running, the center will have 28 full-time and 92 part-time jobs carrying payroll of approximately $2 million, Henkle Schueler said.
