MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — The owner of Sweet Sensations Gourmet Chocolates , the independent candy store that opened three months ago inside the Dayton Mall , is looking to add a second location in the Beavercreek area.

Shop owner Tim Sizemore of Fairborn said he is looking to expand in the Mall at Fairfield Commons area and would like to open additional shops in the future.

Sizemore said owning a candy shop “was a childhood dream” since his parents started taking him to family vacation spots in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The Dayton Mall location has had a successful launch, he said.

Sweet Sensations’ D sells chocolates, ice cream, fudge, toffee, old-time hard candies, candy apples, bulk nuts and sugar-free candies. The Dayton Mall location next to the Elder-Beerman department store has four employees, Sizemore said.
