Much of the event will happen March 18-20 at UD Arena.
RISE brings together graduate and undergraduate students and faculty with economists, financial experts and others in a panel discussion. In the last nine years it has drawn more than 11,000 students from around the world and 50 states. Last year, more than 2,700 participants from more than 302 colleges and universities, representing 73 countries attended, the university said in an announcement.
This year’s keynote speakers and moderators will include: Westina Matthews Shatteen, retired managing director community business development, Merrill Lynch; Todd Buchholz, chairman and chief investment officer of Victoria Capital Management LLC; Nicholas Sargen, senior vice president and chief investment officer, Fort Washington Investments and Western & Southern Financial group; Pat Dorsey, director of equity research, Morningstar Inc.; Ursula Wynhoven, head of policy and legal and special assistant to the executive director, United Nations Global Compact and others.
RISE also will include a range of sessions over three days on ethics, investments, hedge funds, international markets, portfolio management and career strategies as well as an optional student-managed portfolio competition.
