United Way of the Greater Dayton Area has appointed Mark T. Frodyma as vice president of finance and business development.

Frodyma will oversee United Way’s financial operations while developing new strategies to enhance United Way’s revenue streams outside of the annual campaign, according to a news release.

Frodyma served as the finance director for Sojourner Recovery Services, a nonprofit organization in Hamilton, Ohio that provides residential and outpatient treatment for the mental health community. Previously, he has served as controller for various national and international manufacturing companie, according to the release.

Frodyma received both his bachelor’s degree and his MBA from the University of Dayton. He resides in Centerville.
