Up to 40 new hires for green delivery business

Staff Report

HUBER HEIGHTS — CEV Delivery Systems, a delivery company that uses clean-energy vehicles, has opened an operation here that will employ up to 40 people, according to a news release.

The company has set up shop in a 9,600-square-foot facility at 8203 Expansion Way, the news release states.

CEV signed a two-year lease and moved into the building earlier this month, according to Industrial Property Brokers/CORFAC International, the Sidney-based brokerage representing the property.

Will Deorsey, chief executive and founder of CEV, said the company anticipates having between 30 and 40 employees in Huber Heights by the end of the summer.

Tim Echemann, principal broker for Industrial Property Brokers, represented CEV and Kauffman 4 Dayton, which owns the building.
