Woolpert to continue work on FAA contract

Dayton-based Woolpert on Monday it is partnering with Parsons Government Services Inc. on a Federal Aviation Administration contract that could be worth of up to $1.5 billion over 10 years.

The contract, the fourth in that series, supports the FAA’s efforts to modernize its infrastructure within the National Airspace System. Woolpert said will continue to provide aeronautical surveying, airspace obstruction mapping and GIS services as it did on the previous contract, but will play an expanded engineering design role on this fourth contract.

According to the terms of the contract, work will take place in all 50 states and the U.S. territories around the globe.
