9-year-old wins silver medal

BELLBROOK — Bellbrook martial artist Jack Schultz, age 9, was the silver medalist in Olympic sparring and was fourth in forms at the 2009 TTF Tournament of Champions, on Oct. 24 at Hara Arena.

On Oct. 3, Jack won a gold medal in forms and a silver medal in Olympic sparring at the Ohio MAC National Expo in Cincinnati.

The son of Steve and Erin Schultz, Jack is a fourth grader at Bell Creek Intermediate School. He recently tested for his third gup red belt in tae kwon do at the Asian Arts Center in Kettering.
