CENTERVILLE — The Waynesville man who stole the Special Wish Foundation donation box from Bill’s Donuts pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of unauthorized use of property.

Now police have another warrant for his arrest after he failed to appear for a probation meeting.

Michael Truesdale, 24, originally pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of theft in the September incident. He later pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of property.

He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, with credit for eight days already served, and the other 22 days suspended. He also was fined $250, ordered to make restitution and placed on two years probation.

When he failed to appear for a late-October probation meeting, the new warrant for his arrest was filed. Anyone with information about Truesdale can contact Centerville police at (937) 433-7661.

good thing he was able to plead down and get out early. Guess it gives cops something to do in centerville. Pretty sure ive seen him walking the streets on 48 Chase!???!

Send him to prison. He'll get all the cream filled sticks he will want.

That's all right he will get a half dozen or more opportunities to commit crimes in Montgomery County before he will even be considered for punishment or real conviction. Let's see...there's diversion, treatment in lieu of conviction, and lot's of chances on community control. Meanwhile his first plea counts as a conviction that makes the Monkey County Courts, prosecutor and probation departments look real good on paper. We just love our criminals in the Dayton area!
