The Centerville Women’s Civic Club will hold its next luncheon meeting Nov. 18 at Yankee Trace, with a guest speaker from Hannah’s Treasure Chest.

The club’s last event was a “Howling Halloween” card party. Nearly 200 women played cards, enjoyed lunch and a fashion show, and received door and raffle prizes.

All proceeds from the event went to support the Civic Club’s annual scholarships to Wright State University students. Last year, the club awarded more than $5,000 in scholarships.
