As we get ready to usher in the holidays and say goodbye to 2009, I would like to thank all of you for your tremendous work this year.

I would also like to express my thanks to Ken Davenport for his many years of service to the Mad River Local School District as a Board of Education member.

Furthermore, I would like to welcome Ruth Newhouse to the board of education. Ruth has been very active in the Mad River Booster Organization. She has four children who went to Mad River Schools and graduated from Stebbins High School.

Mad River Middle: Eighth-grade Team Chippewa students participated in a ribbon activity to better understand the Holocaust, selecting one of three ribbon colors to wear around their wrist for the first 45 minutes of class.

Stebbins: Sophomores in Mr. McGhee’s Construction Technology Program have built a bridge that is 24 feet long and 42 inches wide.
