FAIRBORN — The Fraternal Order of Eagles Wright Aerie No. 2641 is inviting the local community to view the Southwest Ohio Zone’s Disaster Relief Trailer at the Wright Aerie, 509 Sports St.

“Our aerie is excited to show the community one of the Fraternal Order of Eagles’ Disaster Relief Trailers,” said Alma Powell, Wright Aerie member. “We hope the community will see the trailer and learn more about the great work the Eagles do in our community and all across the world.”

This trailer, given to the Eagles in the last year, is one of five Disaster Relief Trailers in the state of Ohio.

Eagles’ Past Grand Worthy President John Potter initiated the Disaster Relief program during his 2007-08 presidency. His vision was for each state to have at least one Disaster Relief Trailer to quickly respond to those in need with necessary supplies.

“Ohio has really stepped up to the plate with their five Disaster Relief Trailers evenly distributed across the state,” Powell said.
