Fairmont senior elected Ohio DECA vice president

KETTERING — Sophie Farley, a senior marketing student at Fairmont High School and president of the Fairmont DECA chapter, campaigned and was elected to fill the office of Ohio DECA Southwest Region vice president.

The election was held during the annual Ohio DECA Fall Delegates Conference on Nov. 3 in Columbus.

Farley’s campaign team included the following Fairmont marketing students: Cynthia Dale, Brittany Davis, Matt Davis, Erin Dittoe, Megan Dolphin, Tyler Erwin, Beth Evers, Chase Loges, Danielle McCreary, Adam Nooe, Cassie O’Grady, Christina Olgiate, Ryan Rice, David Rivera, Adam Thompson and Holly Ward.

Madeline Lehrner, an Oakwood High School junior in Fairmont’s Marketing Tech Prep Program, and Anthony Ganz-Sarto a senior in Fairmont’s Marketing Tech Prep Program, also competed in Columbus.
