KETTERING — Pamela Cochran, property manager of Town & Country Shopping Center, 300 E. Stroop Road, has been chosen to be the 2009 Holiday at Home Grand Marshal, according to Bill Tschirhart, spokesman for Holiday at Home.
Cochran was chosen because of her dedication to service in the community and for her volunteer spirit, Tschirhart said Wednesday, June 17.

In other Holiday at Home news, applications are being accepted for the Holiday at Home 2009 Pageant.
The Holiday at Home committee will be awarding up to $10,000 in scholarship money to this year’s Queen and her court, according to Tschirhart.
Candidates for the pageant should be females between the ages of 17 to 21 and live in the jurisdictions of Kettering, Oakwood, Centerville, Bellbrook, Beavercreek, Washington Twp., Miamisburg, Miami Twp., and Moraine, Tschirhart said.
Pageant contestants will be judged on community service, poise, personality and appearance.
The pageant, which is free to the public, will be held 6 p.m. on July 24 in Fairmont High School’s Auditorium, 3301 Shroyer Road.
