MIAMISBURG — A touch of the country is coming to historic downtown Miamisburg this summer.

The Farmer’s Market starts July 1 and runs 1 to 6 p.m. every Wednesday along Miami Avenue, between Linden and Central avenues.

Many of the same vendors who participated in the market at its former location at the Miamisburg Moose Lodge will be at the new site offering traditional fresh produce, baked goods and flowers.

“The city looks forward to hosting a Farmer’s Market for the first time downtown and giving patrons another great reason to visit our historic district,” Mayor Dick Church Jr. said.

Ample parking will be available on Miami and Central avenues and in downtown lots.

I was interested in this until I saw the hours they're open. One to six Wednesdays? Guess we working folk will stick to Kroger.
