MORAINE — The July 4 activities in Moraine are planned at Wax Park, 3800 Main St., and include special activities, concerts, food, and refreshments.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket for the free concerts.

Amusement rides will be available from 1 to 11 p.m.

The Moraine Youth & Teen Amateur Talent Show is scheduled for 3 to 5 p.m. Local youth will compete on the Main Stage to qualify for the county-wide talent show at the Fraze Pavilion in Kettering in early August. There are two age divisions: 12 and younger and 13-19 and both have two categories which include individual and group. No garage bands. Preregister by Wednesday, July 1, by calling Grace at (937) 535-1062.

The Rubber Duck Relay Final starts around 3 p.m. at Splash! Moriane. Entry fee is $2. The winner receives a free season pass for the rest of the 2009 season.
