»Student of the week: The Dayton Daily News wants to hear from you about kids in our community. The newspaper is featuring a student spotlight in the Neighbors section, but we need your help. Answer the following questions so we may consider publishing information about your child in the newspaper: name, age, town of residence, school, favorite subject, pets, activities, favorite way to spend time outside of school, favorite book, favorite movie or TV show, favorite song, hero, favorite food, where he or she will be in 10 years and parent or guardian names. We also will publish a photo. Send jpeg photos 4 inches by 6 inches at 200 dpi and contact information to neighbors@coxohio.com.

»Educator of the week: Educators are a special breed of people. During school, they are responsible for inspiring young minds and teaching children how to think. The Dayton Daily News wants to hear about the special educators you know. Answer these questions about a special teacher so we may consider publishing their information in the newspaper: name, grade taught, school, how long teaching, the best part of being a teacher, gavorite book and best advice for students. Submissions may be from parents, principals, fellow teachers or educators themselves. Please send this information to neighbors@coxohio.com with a jpeg photo that is 4 inches by 6 inches and 200 dpi. Be sure to include contact information (including email address and phone number).

»Birth announcements: These will now be exclusively printed in our Celebrations section. To place a paid announcement, call Debbie Roberts at (937) 222-4337 and leave your name and phone number.

»Reunions: We are changing how these are submitted. Reunion planners can now upload class information online at DaytonDailyNews.com/
submitevents. If you are new to entering your events online, you will need to sign up for an account. It’s easy, free and puts you in control of your event listings. Reunion listings will now be found exclusively online. Contact the events desk at (937) 225-0622 with questions or concerns.
