VANDALIA — The Stillwater Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 9675 N. Dixie Drive, will hold a free community health fair from 1:30 to 4 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 14.
The “Health and Safety Safari” will feature 16 participating organizations, including Grandview Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, Children’s Medical Center and Vandalia police and fire departments.
Others include MarriageWorks, Hand Reconstructive Surgeons, Bayer Health Care, MMED Services, Cottages of Clayton, Digestive Care, Wee Care Learning Center, Mended Hearts and Peltier Chiropractic Center.
Visitors will be able to get their blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol checked.
Dermascans and spinal assessments, along with Hermacult kits and glucometers, also will be available.
There will be information related to acid reflux, Ident-A-Kid, bike helmets, booster seats and tips on warding off the H1N1 flu.
Massage will be provided by Vandalia Massage and pony rides by B&S Pony Rides.
