Lunch Ladies bake to benefit needy

WAYNESVILLE — The Spartan Café Lunch Ladies will be baking cookies this holiday season to raise money for needy families in Waynesville. Orders and payment for the fund-raiser are due by today, Dec. 3. Order forms are available at www.wayne-local.com. Cookies will be available for pick-up from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 10 in the elementary cafeteria. All profits will be split between the Neediest Kids Fund and the American Legion’s efforts for Christmas Food Baskets.
