Northcutt scores 30 for Lions Meadowdale
Uniqua Northcutt posted a double-double of 30 points and 13 rebounds in Meadowdale's 78-34 victory over Stivers on Monday, Jan. 5.
Dajza Demmings added 18 points, and Ashley Bumpus and Krystyna Garth chipped in with 11 each for the Lions (7-5). Jasmine Lee and Sharonda Martin both scored 10 in a loss for the Tigers (0-7).
Dayton Christian 78, Belmont 51: Amanda Smith scored 19 points to lead the Warriors (6-3), while Myesha Johnson scored 13 and hauled in 19 rebounds.
Vandalia Butler 60, Bellbrook 20: Three Aviators reached double-figures in scoring. Kacie Cassell led the way with 13 points, Kerry Winchester added 12, and Brittany Holland finished with 11 for Vandalia (6-2).
Middletown 65, West Carrollton 46: Two Middies (4-7) recorded double-doubles as Tiffany Parks had 23 points and 13 rebounds, and Taylor Frazier had 17 points and 12 boards.
Southeastern 60, Greenon 53: Allie Turner dropped 39 points on the Trojans, 15 from the free-throw line, but it wasn't enough to secure a victory for Greenon (4-5). Amber Rice and Amber Hayslip scored 16 each to lead Southeastern (7-3).
Miamisburg 56, Edgewood 35: Chelsey Laporte led the Vikings (4-5) with a well-rounded effort of 16 points, 11 assists, seven rebounds and five steals.
Alter 55, Northmont 37: Mary Bruner led the Knights (9-1) with 10 points. Krista Knapke scored 12 in the loss for the Thunderbolts (4-4).
Stebbins 39, Franklin 33: The Wildcats fell to 3-7 despite a 26-point game by Brandi McDaniel. Jamonican Orton scored 14 for the Indians (2-9).
Marshall 52, Dunbar 25: Kirium Givens led the Cougars (8-3) with 19 points, and CherRon McLemore added 10.
