UPDATE @ 3:34 p.m. (Nov. 9):
Khadijah Thompson and Tara Dunbar both were indicted by a grand jury Thursday.
Thompson was indicted on two counts of felonious assault and Dunbar was indicted on two counts of abduction and one count of improper handling of a firearm.
Both women are due back in court Nov. 14 for their arraignment in common pleas court.
INITIAL REPORT:
The two women accused of running a car over a 17-year-old girl had not guilty pleas entered on their behalf and their bonds set in municipal court.
Khadijah Thompson’s bond was set at $500,000 cash/surety. Tara Dunbar’s bond was set at $250,000 cash/surety. Both arraignments were held Monday via video conference.

Dunbar, 34, faces two counts of abduction and one count of improper use of a firearm. According to an affidavit, Dunbar held the 17-year-old’s girlfriend at gun point.

Montgomery County Western Division Municipal Court Magistrate Judge Kelvin Boddie entered not guilty pleas for both defendants and said their cases will go directly to grand jury.
Boddie also referred both defendants to the public defender’s office for representation.

Seantel McGairk, the 17-year-old’s girlfriend, said to police she was told where to retrieve some items by an old girlfriend in a “set up,” according to court documents.
When McGairk and the 17-year-old got to the Chevrolet Impala near an abandoned fire station on Kimmel Lane in Jefferson Twp. on Oct. 31, they said a red Dodge Charger approached at a fast pace, according to a complaint and affidavit.

An altercation ended with the 17-year-old being struck twice by a vehicle and needing medical attention for several broken bones, according to police and McGairk.
The 17-year-old’s medical condition was stable, according to a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office sergeant.
