Dayton woman’s 2015 disappearance considered suspicious

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a Dayton woman whose disappearance is now considered suspicious, officials said Monday.

Sharonda Morrison, 20, was reported missing Dec. 22, 2015.

According to a Crime Stoppers notice sent out Monday, “recent information” has made the circumstances around her disappearance “suspicious.”

Morrison was arrested for drug trafficking in Portsmouth, Ohio about seven months before she disappeared. She currently has a nationwide warrant for her arrest through Scioto County issued in September 2015, the release said.

She has not been in contact with local family members who reported her missing.

Her last known address, according to court records, is on Danner Avenue in Dayton.
