Internal affairs with the sheriff’s office investigated LeVan in April when a sheriff’s employee complained about him. Investigators took LeVan’s phone to check text messages he sent out.
“While we were looking for those messages, we came across a number of inappropriate photos, specifically some that were taken of him, of himself, while on duty in the courthouse in his office,” the sheriff’s office spokesman said to TC Palm.
Investigators said LeVan also took sexually explicit videos, and all the messages wer exchanged with consenting adults, TC Palm reports.
