House cleaning day turns violent in Dayton

House cleaning and video game playing were competing interests at a reported stabbing in Dayton.

Montgomery County Jail records show 36-year-old Catrina A. Wilson is being held after her arrest Saturday afternoon at a home on West Second Street. She faces potential felony charges of felonious assault and domestic violence.

According to the Dayton police report, the victim, a 24-year-old male, was bleeding from a knife wound to his wrist, but he refused being taken to the hospital.

Police said the victim was asked to clean the house.

He cleaned the upstairs and started playing video games with one of the suspect’s sons, but the suspect told them the basement wasn’t cleaned, according to the report.

The victim went downstairs with the children and cleaned, then resumed playing games, according to the report.

The trouble began when another son wanted cords removed from the gaming console.

An argument ensued, the suspect intervened, and the victim told her not to treat him like one of her children, according to the report.

Further cleaning was going to be necessary, as police noted seeing blood from the stabbing on a curtain in the basement.
