On Oct. 31, Mithelavage was stopped in traffic in Lebanon. Police found crystal meth, cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia the car.
At his residence at 175 Summit, investigators found evidence Mithelavage was manufacturing methamphetamine and growing marijuana.
Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell described the meth lab cleanup operation as one of the largest ever discovered by local investigators.
A search uncovered so many “one pots” left after manufacture of the drug, the Warren County and state cleanup services were unable to handle the work.
“We had to call into DEA for assistance,” Fornshell said in a text message.
Mithelavage also had 18 guns in the residence, two of which were reported stolen. He is also charged with having weapons under disability because of a prior discharging a firearm into a habitation conviction, according to Fornshell.
Drugs seized include 29.2 grams of cocaine, 67.5 grams of methamphetamine, 294 grams of marijuana, 30.4 grams of psylocybin mushrooms, as well as other drugs. Investigators also seized equipment used to grow marijuana and make meth.
Mithelavage is also charged with trafficking in and possession of cocaine, aggravated trafficking and possession of drugs, illegal manufacture of drugs, illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, cultivation and possession of marijuana and possession of criminal tools.
He is free on $2,000 bond, pending arraignment on Jan. 27 in Warren County Common Pleas Court.
