Man charged with prostitution of wife at Warren County hotel

A Cincinnati man has been accused of promoting the prostitution of his wife.

Ricardo D. Gordon, 28, was indicted on charges of promoting prostitution, possession of criminal tools and endangering children, according to a list released today by the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

Gordon’s wife, Tanika C. Childress, 25, was charged with misdemeanor counts of soliciting, drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her case is pending in Mason Municipal Court.

According to authorities, Gordon arranged a meeting on Jan. 7 at the Home Stay Inn, in Deerfield Twp., near the Fields-Ertel Interchange at Interstate 71 between an undercover police officer and Childress “to engage in sexual activity for hire.”

Additional details on Gordon’s child endangering charge were not immediately available.

Gordon was scheduled for arraignment at 8:30 a.m., Feb. 26 in Warren County Common Pleas Court.

He remained free on $1,000 bond, pending his arraignment.
