Workman said he "completely regretted" decisions he made and was working to make himself better.
He pleaded guilty in November to three felony counts of illegal sexual conduct with a minor in incidents in Piqua and Covington.
Workman was classified as a Tier II sex offender, which will require him to register his address with the sheriff's office for 25 years after prison release.
