Fields is being held on suspicion of rape and Ward is being held on suspicion of abduction, according to jail records.
Both are listed as suspects in the kidnapping and rape of a 16-year-old Dayton girl.
Officers were dispatched Sunday afternoon to a Brooks Street home, about two hours after the alleged incident occurred there, according to the Dayton police report.
Sgt. Monica Evans said the alleged victim and the suspects were acquaintances, but further details were not released.
Fields and Ward are scheduled to appear Tuesday for an arraignment in Dayton Municipal Court.
