In middle of divorce, her vehicle disappears

In the middle of a divorce, a woman reported her truck stolen in the 6900 block of Taywood Road, although her estranged husband said he thought the vehicle was repossessed since they were behind in payments.

She happened to be at an unnamed friend’s apartment at the time the vehicle went missing, and said she left the keys in the vehicle since the person she was visiting had the habit of throwing them on the roof of his apartment and she didn’t want to stay very long.

Adding to the intrigue was the finance company denying that the vehicle was repossessed.

It was finally located on Grand Avenue, engulfed in flames. Once the fire was put out, the vehicle was towed, listed as stolen and being considered as part of an arson investigation by the Dayton Fire Department.
