VANDALIA (SEPT. 28) – A man reported to police that a coworker jumped on the hood of his car, damaging it, a couple days before the damage was reported. The coworker offered to fix the damage after it was discovered, the man said.

VANDALIA (SEPT. 28) – Police were called to a hallway at the Knights Inn on a report of an intoxicated woman passed out. The woman did not know where she was and admitted to using drugs, police said. She was cited for public intoxication.

VANDALIA (OCT. 1) – A 17-year-old girl was incarcerated at the Juvenile Justice Center following a report of domestic violence. Police said the girl kicked her mother and pulled her hair during an altercation over a cell phone.

VANDALIA (SEPT. 30) - A woman complained to police that her ex-husband violated a civil protection order by leaving a letter in her mailbox. The woman said the content of the letter and the handwriting were evidence the offender was the ex-husband. The ex-husband said he wrote the letter, but didn’t put it in the mailbox. He said his mother did, without his knowledge. The case remained under investigation.

CONCORD TWP., MIAMI COUNTY (OCT. 4) – A vehicle was stopped in the early hours on Interstate 75 north of Troy after the driver made at least three marked driving lane violations.

The driver did not possess a valid driver’s license. He was cited for driving outside market lanes and no operator’s license.

TIPP CITY (OCT. 6) – Police were called to a Barbara Drive residence on a report of two men in an argument. One of the men kept waking up the other man, who was getting upset. Police talked to the men, who agreed they would leave each other alone the rest of the night.
