Thomas McNichols was taken into custody around 5:45 p.m. and was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on obstructing official business and fleeing and eluding charges, records indicated.
McNichols appeared in Kettering Municipal Court this morning and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
We’ve reached out to Moraine police to ask why police were chasing McNichols, but have not heard back yet.
McNichols is scheduled for a pretrial hearing on Thursday.

A police pursuit involving Moraine officers has ended on Broadway Street just north of Stewart Street, according to reports.
Initial reports indicated officers had a suspect in custody around 5:35 p.m.
