Thieves use rock to break into Target store

Police are searching for two men suspected of breaking into the Trotwood Target and reportedly stealing multiple laptops from the business, according to reports.

Officers responded to the Target, 2800 Shiloh Springs Rd., around 3:15 a.m. after receiving an alarm at the store, police said.

Crews arrived to find two doors of the store busted out by a rock, police said.

Police discovered a display case holding laptops busted into and around five to six computers missing, officers said.

A K9 was called to the scene to help search for the suspects, but the search was unsuccessful, reports indicated.

Investigators said the suspects were in and out of the store within two minutes.

Investigators are continuing to look into the case and are reviewing surveillance video from inside the business.
