Warren County man accused of fondling 4 boys makes bail

The 19-year-old Wayne Twp. man accused of fondling four Waynesville-area boys has been released after a $25,000 bond was posted in his case.

Cole A. Phillips was indicted on seven counts of gross sexual imposition, according to a list issued Monday by Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell’s office.

Between March 2016 and December 2016, Phillips is accused of fondling four sleeping male students from Waynesville school district students after giving them alcohol at his home, according to Fornshell.

He was booked into Warren County Jail on Monday.

At Phillips’ arraignment, bond was set at $25,000. It was later posted, enabling his release.

Phillips, who attended local schools with the alleged victims, is required to have no contact with them, while awaiting trial.
