A woman was found unconscious, naked, beaten and tied up with rope in the road in the 800 block of Wheatley Avenue Sunday, according to court documents.

The victim told police Jennifer Rice drove her to a detached garage in an alley in the 100 block of Fountain Avenue, where the victim and Rice walked into the garage where a male suspect and Cassidy Lake were waiting, according to court documents obtained by this news outlet.

According to a court affidavit, the male suspect closed the garage door and punched the victim “multiple times on the sides of her head with his fists.”

The male suspect, who has yet to be arrested, allegedly strattled the victim while continuing to assault her.

The male suspect told Lake and Rice to “make her bleed or you’ll bleed,” according to the affidavit.

The two women allegedly then punched the victim and the man reportedly struck the victim’s head with with a hard object, possibly a piece of wooden or metal door frame or trim, according to the affidavit.

The victim reportedly lost consciousness and when she awakened the male suspect was pouring a thick unknown fluid over her face and body that was making it difficult for the victim to breathe, the affidavit said.

The male suspect was reported to have told Lake and Rice to take off the victims clothes and bind her, the affidavit said.

INITIAL REPORT:

After a female was reportedly found naked and beaten up on Sunday, two women are being held on alleged kidnapping and rape charges and a third male suspect may still be at large.

Cassidy D. Lake, 22, and Jennifer Lynn Rice, 40, were arrested at Dayton police headquarters on Monday and are being held in the Montgomery County Jail. They are scheduled to appear in Dayton Municipal Court on Wednesday to answer to kidnapping and rape charges.

Dayton officers responded Sunday afternoon to a 9-1-1 call from a home on Kenilworth Avenue where the residents reported seeing a woman naked and bleeding in the street, according to the Dayton police report.

This newsroom requested and obtained the 9-1-1 record. In it you can hear two people frantically tell the dispatcher to get police and emergency crews on their way.

The caller tells the dispatcher the white female appears to have been beaten up and it appears there is a rope tied around her body.

“There’s blood everywhere … I don’t know how she got there, she’s just there,” the caller states. “She’s pleading for someone to help her.”

Later that night, law enforcement agencies in the Miami Valley were put on alert to be on the lookout for three suspects, including Lake and Rice.

The third suspect named in the bulletin is not in custody.

It’s unclear how the victim is doing. The police report indicates she is 35 years old.

Dayton Sgt. Monica Evans said no further information would be released about the investigation at this time.
