82-year-old driver cited for OVI

VANDALIA (Nov. 13): Speeding and weaving in and out of lanes was good for a traffic stop and the 
82-year-old driver said he had just consumed a couple of beers. He returned a a .159 on the breath test, almost double the legal limit of .08. He complained of bruising from police handcuffs, but the bruises he showed on his wrists appeared to be old ones. He was cited for OVI and speeding and released to his wife. MARC KATZ
